Ok lately I've been really dorkin out on Peruvian 60s and 70s rock. This group in particular caught me completely off guard. Such a Great album with a mixture of psych rock and andean music played on native instrument with traditional rock instrumentation, creating a unique style where violins sounded like fuzz guitars. El Polen s "Cholo", is one of the first acid folk LPs out of South America. The album is one well worth kicking back and letting it take its course without any interruptions.
